Katie Pregnancy Pictures

These were my first ever pregnancy pictures! I couldn't have asked for a better mom & dad to be my first. Katie is my best friends older sister and Katie & Rob are expecting their first baby GIRL! Her name is Sophia & she is due to arrive any week! We started out the shoot on LSU's campus & finished the day up at Katie & Rob's house. The day was great & I had a very hard time choosing four of my favorite pictures for this post. There were PLENTY of great ones!! Thanks Yall for letting me be a part of this special time!

Yes, I know. It has been a while since I have last posted pictures on here. That is one of my many goals for this next week. Things have been so crazy this summer. Haven't really been doing many shoots..it has been so hot! But here is what is in the making for the months to come: I have a shoot monday in this AWESOME new spot I found(im super stoked about it), maternity shoots, family pictures, engagement pictures, bridals, and a wedding!!! Holy Cow! That's a lot. On top of all of that, I'm starting my new path in life; I will be starting paramedic school in the fall & we are trying to plan our wedding next  year! :) So in the midst of everything above & my other job I am still taking pictures! I really would love to have a shoot everyday, but there just isn't enough hours in the day to accomplish everything I would like!

The Sahuque Family

Its funny how things can develop so quickly. I always knew that I had an interest in photography and that I wanted to do it just for fun. I got my Nikon about a year ago and must say that I've come a long way with it. One day I asked my close friend if she wanted to go take some pictures..just to see what could come of it. To my suprise they came out much better than I thought!! I am no where near a professional photographer.. but I truly feel that my work is improving by leaps and bounds everytime I do a shoot. The feeling that each of my clients gives me when I am taking their pictures is AWESOME! I love knowing that I am being a part of their lives and capturing moments that will never be forgotten!
I never thought that I would have to start writing all my appoitments down on my calander! I can't wait to see where this journey in my life brings me.
I love to shoot in the afternoon and want to only use natural light as much as I can.. I love exploring new places and firguring it out as I go. I love to capture the natural emotions of people.
